Use Drawing Tools to highlight specific details and communicate your points clearly on tech packs.
Accessing Drawing Tools
Access Drawing Tools by clicking the Switch to Drawing Tools Panel icon.
Drawing tools are available within the Annotation panel of your projects under the following tabs:
- Annotations
- Fit Notes
- Measurement Guide
Drawing Tools & Formatting Guide
1. Add Drawing Tools: Select from Rectangle, Ellipse, Star, Callout (message shape with text), Textbox, or Spotlight.
2. Border: Check the box to apply a border to your shape.
3. Fill: Check for a Transparent background, or uncheck to add a Fill Colour.
4. Fill Colour: Use the eyedropper tool to select your desired fill colour.
5. Opacity: Use the slider scale to adjust the transparency level.
6. Text (Callout & Textbox Only): Type your text to display it inside the callout or textbox.
7. Align: Choose your text alignment: Left, Centre, or Right.
8. Text Colour: Select the colour for your text.
9. Text Size: Adjust the font size of your text.
10. Actions Dropdown: Use this menu to arrange or remove your objects:
- Bring to Front
- Send to Back
- Bring Forward
- Send Backward
- Delete

Click on the point you would like to zoom in and focus on, drag the edges of the circle to enlarge, click within the highlighted area to move it aside if needed.
