Use your Project Library to save images to use later on, or to view which images are currently in use across your project.
Select images from your Image Library within the Annotations, Fit Notes, and Measurement Guide tabs. Search for images by description. We recommend adding descriptions when uploading to make searching quick and easy.
Image Library
Upload images to use in this Project. Images uploaded on other tabs will also appear here.
Click an image to expand and edit its details.
Edit Image Details
- Copy & Edit: Duplicate and edit the image.
- Delete: Remove an image from the Project Library.
- Filename: View the file name of the uploaded image.
- Description: View and edit the image description.
- Cancel: Cancel your edits and close the window.
- OK: Apply your edits and close the window.
If an image is in use on another tab, it can't be removed. The warning pop-up Image In Use! will appear.
Image Edit
Click the image, then select Copy & Edit to open Image Edit.
- Zoom In: Zoom in on the image.
- Zoom Out: Zoom out of the image.
- Crop: Choose between Free Crop or Square Crop.
- Rotate Left: Rotate the image left.
- Rotate Right: Rotate the image right.
- Select Full Image: Select the full image.
- Download Image: Download the image file.
- Preview: Select Preview to view your changes in the Image Preview pop-up window.
Click Apply to confirm the changes, then click Save.
To cancel your changes and return to image editing, click Cancel.
+ Add to Image Library
Click + Add to Image Library to open the Upload Images window.
To upload your images, drag and drop or click to browse.
Hover over the menu icon in the top-right corner of the image box for all image upload options.
- Select Image File: Upload an image from your computer.
- Select Image from Phone: Upload an image from your phone.
- File Restrictions: View file size and format limits.
Select Image File
When you choose Select Image File you will be prompted to upload an image from your computer.
- Images: Add more images.
- Filename: View the file name of the uploaded image.
- Description: View and edit the image description.
- Add to Main System Library: Tick the checkbox to add the image to the Main System Library.
- Remove All: Remove all images.
- Upload: Upload your images.
- Cancel: Cancel the upload.
- Delete [X]: Delete an image.
Click Save to update your changes.
Select Image from Phone
When you choose Select Image from Phone, a pop-up window will appear with a QR code.
Scan this QR code with your phone's camera.
The following page will load on your phone with options to:
- Take a photo
- Select a photo
Add your image and select Confirm to upload.
The Upload from Phone pop-up will appear to confirm your received images. Click Close when finished.
The Upload Images window will appear. Add a description or additional images, then click Upload.
A confirmation message will appear, and your image will now be uploaded in Zedonk.
Click Save to update your changes.
File Restrictions
The file must be a JPG or PNG image and no more than2000x2000 pixels. Images over this size can be cropped or resized.
To add an image from your library, select [Add from Library]
You'll find this on the Annotations, Fit Notes, and Measurement Guide tabs.
The Select Library Image window will appear.
- Search: Search for images by description.
- Filter by: Filter by Project Library, System Library, or both.
- See All: View all images matching your selected libraries and search.
- Cancel: Close the window without selecting an image.
- OK: Apply your selected image.
