Projects - Stage-Specific Tab - Sized Raw Materials

You can add a Raw Material to a Product and allocate different variants to different sizes within the Product

Within the Product, click on the Raw Materials Tab...

Within the Raw Materials tab, select [Sized Materials] to see Sized Materials tab...

To add the sized Raw Material, locate the material via the Quick Add dropdown...

Select the sizes and details for the Raw Material you wish to add

- Select which sizes of the Product you want the Raw Material to be added to

- Select which variants of the Raw Material you wish to be added

Enter the quantity for each size and select the Material Type label to display

Select [OK] to add

... or search for the Raw Material via the Advanced Add function

Select one variant and click [Add]

Select the sizes you wish to add the Raw Material to and select which variant to add to each size and enter the quantity to add to each size (or use the Auto Fill button) and determine the Raw Material label

Click [OK] to confirm

Once added, determine which size you wish to use for costing (important if the different variants of the RM have different prices) and add specific notes if required

If the RM By Colour Flag has been selected on the Raw Materials Tab, Sized Materials will show a tab per colourway

Any raw materials already under sized materials before the 'RM By Colourway' option was selected will be carried across to all colourways. From this point, each colourway will be independent.

When RM By Colourway is enabled, only the Quick Add Option will be available on the Sized Materials tab, you will see the following modal when you have selected your raw material

1. [Current Colourway Name] or 'All Colours' toggle - Choose whether the selected raw material should be applied as detailed below to all colours on the sized materials tab, or just the current colourway. (This will always bee the current colourway by default)

2. Material Type - Choose the 'Material Type' to be applied to the raw material.

3. Size - Size name.

4. Colour - Raw Material Variant/s to choose from.

5. Quantity - The quantity/ consumption/ rating required to make one unit of that size.

6. Fill - To populate the below rows with the same quantity.

7. Clear All - To clear size selection.

8. Select All - To select all Sizes.

9. Cancel - To cancel the action and close the modal.

10. OK - To apply the raw materials to each selected colourway accordingly.

 

The Material cost now visible on the Costs tab will combine the Raw Materials and Sized Raw Materials across colours
