Projects - Publishing Overview

A Project can be published into Z.Hub to create a Product Costing record for each Colourway. If updated information needs to be sent from Z.Studio to Z.Hub - data can be Re-Published. The record between Z.Studio and Z.Hub won't be linked to give users control as to how and when data is carried across and updated in Z.Hub.

To publish a Project into Z.Hub, you will need to have at least the following applied to the Project record:

- Style

- Fabric

- Colour (minimum of 1)

- Size Category

- Collection Status: Approved

- Manufacturer (minimum of 1)

- Customs Type

When Publishing a Project to Hub, it will be looking at data from the stage currently assigned. 

To Publish a Project - this can be done individually within the record's Stage modal

Or from selected records on the Projects/ By Colour list view [X Selected] Menu

The modal which opens will look like the following, when all selected lines are 'VALID' click [Next]

1. Season - The season name (assigned to the Collection in which that Project is listed in) of the season that the Project/s will be published into.

2. Filters - Filter the Status values via the 'All', 'Valid', 'Error', 'Ignore' options. Then filter the Action values via the 'Create', and 'Update' options.

3. X Rows In Total - Review the count of rows per status or action.

4. Autosize Columns - This resizes the columns to show the full data for all the fields currently displayed on the modal.

This could result in the grid being wider than the modal but you will be able to scroll right/left to see all data.

5. Fit To Screen - This will fit the columns to the size of the modal.

6. [X] - Deselect/ Select rows (Colourways) you would need to exclude/ include from publishing.

7. Status - There are 3 status' each row (Colourway) can be in:

Valid - There are no errors/ missing pieces of data and that row can be Published.

Error - There is an error and that row cannot currently be Published. (Click on the 'Error' button on that row to open up a modal explaining the errors).

Ignore - When the row is deselected, the status will show as 'Ignore' as this will be ignored and not Published.  

8. Action - There are two Actions which can be reflected on each row (Colourway)

Create - Publishing and creating a new Product Costing record in Z.Hub.

Update - Republishing to update an existing Product Costing record in Z.Hub. (The row/colourway was previously published and already has a Product Costing record created from it)

9. # - Row number

10. Project Name - The name of the Project

11. Style - The Style value from the Product IDs/Colourways modal.

12. Fabric - The Fabric value from the Product IDs/Colourways modal.

13. Colour - The Colour value from the Product IDs/Colourways modal.

14. Last Published - If a project has already been published into Z.Hub and it is being Republished, this field will be populated with the date and time it was last Published.

15. Published By - The name of the user who last published/ republished that row/colourway.

16. Cancel - To close the modal, not publish any Projects and go back to the Project record/ list view.

17. Next - To Proceed to the next step to select the Publishing options.

You will see the following Publish Options, click [Publish] once happy with selected options.

1. Publish Images - When selected Product Image 1 will be published into Z.Hub. (For clients with Digital Showroom on Z.Hub - Image 2 will pull through to Image 2.

2. Publish BOMs - When selected, raw materials will be included when publishing into Z.Hub.

3. Publish Costs - When selected, data on the Costs tab will be included when publishing into Z.Hub.

4. Publish Prices - When selected, priced will be included when publishing into Z.Hub.

5. Cancel - Click to go back to the previous modal.

6. Publish - Click to confirm and Publish Projects into Z.Hub accordingly.

Your Project/ Select Projects will now show as published!

If you see any errors, click on the red [ERROR] button per row to spot the issues, you can click [OK] and [Cancel] to leave and fix these issues.
